UniCamillus adheres to the Italian project “Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro”

Rome, 17/02/2020 This morning the “Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro” of MIUR started in UniCamillus – International Medical University of Rome. It is a mandatory project for all students of the last three years of high school. Specifically, it is one of the most significant innovations of Law 107 of 2015 (The Good School).

“How to become a doctor” is the title of the initiative implemented by the University which involves many students attending the third and fourth classes of the Torquato Tasso High School in Rome. Learners from 17 to 21 February at the University headquarters in via Sant’Alessandro 8, will have the opportunity to participate, during the morning, in simulations and laboratories of Anatomy and Histology thus entering in direct contact with some of the subjects of the Course of Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery and of the Three-year Degree Courses in the Health Professions present in UniCamillus.

Some UniCamillus Professors will make their knowledge and experience available to spread a full awareness of the profession of doctor in the current globalized context to boys and girls.

The UniCamillus training offer in fact revolves around a specific mission: internationality, humanitarian mission and inclusive medicine. These three values ​​will be constantly transmitted during the project to make the participants of the Alternanza Scuola-Lavoro understand how important it is, nowadays, to prepare doctors and health professionals from all over the world capable of operating in a spirit of service.
