Ukraine, Profita (UniCamillus) “Ready to welcome and support 20 Ukrainians students”

“UniCamillus is ready to welcome immediately 20 young Ukrainians, prospective students of healthcare disciplines, and support them in their academic path through scholarships, as well as grant them moral and psychological support” the Rector of the International Medical University in Rome, UniCamillus, Gianni Profita, declares.

“The tragedy unfolding in Ukraine, the madness of a war in the heart of Europe, cannot leave anyone indifferent: today more than ever each one of us is called to do their share.
Since the establishment of UniCamillus – the Rector continues – the openness to the world and the integration among peoples have been the focus of its mission, therefore, in agreement with the Centro Culturale Internazionale Giovanni XXII for foreign students, supported by the Vicariato of Rome, our University is ready to welcome 20 young Ukrainians aspiring to become doctors or health professionals. Furthermore, scholarships are provided in order to support them in the preparation to the admission test, as well as along the entire course of studies until graduation”.

“Our hope – Profita concludes – is that the young Ukrainians that will become UniCamillus students manage to find here the peace that today is missing in their homeland, and that they will soon remain just a memory of a war that we wish to see stopped immediately, in favour of dialogue, diplomacy and pacific confrontation, faded a few days ago.
