Ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Congress Center in the presence of Undersecretary Costa

Ribbon-cutting for the new Congress Center of UniCamillus, the International Medical University in Rome, this morning in the presence of Undersecretary of Health, Andrea Costa, the Scientific Director of the INMI Spallanzani, Giuseppe Ippolito, and the president of the Medical Association of Rome, Antonio Magi: the Rector of the University, Gianni Profita, led the site visit of the building under construction.

“The Covid stopped any kind of groundbreaking ceremony, so today we celebrate our new work, even if already undertaken, in the presence of the honorable representative of the Ministry of Health”, the Rector of Unicamillus, Gianni Profita, stated.

“This is an International University. Young as it is, this University is in strong growth, and welcomes students from all around the world. United, everyone, around the “health religion” – he added- “we train professionals with the aim to let them bring back to their countries the benefits of health care for their nations”.

“Today’s visit has been an opportunity to meet this new reality that welcomes and prepares boys and girls from all over the world, especially from developing Countries. These students have the possibility to create professionalism and a future in order to try to give hope also to their origin Countries” said the undersecretary for Health, Andrea Costa.

“It is a great opportunity offered to doctors and to health workers of tomorrow. A good story to be supported in a period where solidarity is necessary. I find it proper that institutions manifest closeness and care for these inclusion projects, that reward merit and responsibility”, ended.
