Is the degree in Human Nutrition Sciences(LM-61) recognized by the Ministry of University and Research?

Yes, the Ministry of University and Research, with Decree no. 899 of 07/19/2021, accredited the Master’s Degree Course in Human Nutrition Sciences (LM-61) at UniCamillus

HOW WILL BE HELD THE COURSE?

Especially in distance learning: the majority of the classes will be held completely online.

In which language will the lessons be held?

The whole degree course is held in Italian.

Is the attendance to classes MANDATORY?

Attendance to classes is not MANDATORY.

How will the exams take place?

The exams of the Degree Course in Human Nutrition Sciences will be carried out in presence at locations t.b.d., excepts if new decrees will be issued because of the pandemic.

Is an internship/traineeship provided for the Degree course in Human Nutrition Sciences?

There is no internship for the Degree Course Human Nutrition Sciences (LM-61).

When will the classes for the Degree Course Human Nutrition Sciences academic year 2022/2023 begin?

The beginning of the classes is scheduled for November 2022.

Does the Degree Course of Human Nutrition Sciences allow you to enroll in the National PROFESSIONAL BOARD OF BIOLOGISTS?

Graduates in Human Nutrition Sciences, after passing the state examination, can enroll in the National Professional Board of Biologists

How much is the annual fee for the Master's Degree course in Human Nutrition Sciences?

HOW CAN I ENROLL IN THE A.Y. 2022/2023?

The “Admission Committee” evaluates the certificates submitted by the candidate, checks the eligibility requirements and his/her suitability, giving an individual score on the basis of an algorithm. Points are added to the score for the essay produced

What are the requirements for enrolling in the Master's Degree in Human Nutrition Sciences?

Students must have a Degree in one of the following Degree Courses:

• L-2 Biotechnology, L-13 Biological Sciences, L-22 Sports and Motor Activities, L-26 Food Sciences and Technologies, L-27 Chemical Sciences and Technologies, L-29 Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies, or the corresponding Degree courses of the former Ministerial Decree 509/99; • L / SNT03 (Technical Health Professions, limited to Dietetics);
• LM-13 Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy, LM-41 Medicine and Surgery, or the corresponding Degree courses of the former Ministerial Decree 509/99;
• LM-6 Biology, LM-8 Industrial Biotechnology, LM-9 Medical, Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, LM-70 Food Science and Technology, or the corresponding Degree courses of the former Ministerial Decree 509/99.

Students with another Degree must have accumulated at least 48 CFU in the scientific-disciplinary sectors listed below:

• MAT / 01 and MAT / 07 (at least 6 CFU)
• FIS / 01 and FIS / 07 (at least 4 CFU)
• CHIM / 01 and CHIM / 11 (at least 8 CFU)
• from BIO / 01 to BIO / 19 (at least 20 CFU)

Students must have a good knowledge of the English language, certified by a university exam, or by the possession of a level B1 certification.

Do I have to take an admission test to enroll?

Students must have a Degree in one of the following Degree Courses:
• L-2 Biotechnology, L-13 Biological Sciences, L-22 Sports and Motor Activities Sciences, L-26 Food Sciences and Technologies, L-27 Chemical Sciences and Technologies, L-29 Pharmaceutical Sciences and Technologies, or the corresponding Degree courses as in the former Ministerial Decree 509/99;
• L-SNT/03 (Technical Health Professions, limited to Dietetics);
• LM-13 Pharmacy and Industrial Pharmacy, LM-41 Medicine and Surgery, or the corresponding Degree courses as in the former Ministerial Decree 509/99;
• LM-6 Biology, LM-8 Industrial Biotechnology, LM-9 Medical, Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, LM-70 Food Sciences and Technology, or the corresponding Degree courses as in the former Ministerial Decree 509/99.
Students with a differente Degree can enroll, upon having gained at least 48 CFU in the scientific-disciplinary sectors listed below:
• MAT / 01 and MAT / 07 (at least 6 CFU)
• FIS / 01 and FIS / 07 (at least 4 CFU)
• CHIM / 01 and CHIM / 11 (at least 8 CFU)
• from BIO / 01 to BIO / 19 (at least 20 CFU)
Students must have a good knowledge of the English language, certified by an exam passed at the University level, or by a language certificate at a level equal to or higher than B1 of the CEFR.

Which is the deadlines for submitting the applications for the admission?

The admission procedure is open from August 1st 2022 at 9:00 until October 5th 2022 at 1:00pm. For more info, please read the Call for Application for the Degree course in Human Nutrition Sciences 2022/2023. The participation fee is equal to Euro 50,00.

HOW CAN I SUBMIT THE APPLICATION?

Candidates in possession of the abovementioned requirements can submit the application, exclusively online. For more info, you can refer to the indications in the Guide.

WHEN WILL THE FINAL RANKING BE AVAILABLE?

The “final” ranking, i.e., the one that allow candidates to enrol, will be published on the University website within October 28th 2022.

HOW CAN I VALIDATE CREDITS (ECTS) GAINED IN PREVIOUS ACADEMIC CAREERS?

After having enrolled in the Human Nutrition Sciences Degree, the students can submit a request of validation of credits (ECTS recognition) obtained during previous academic careers (except those gained during bachelor’s degrees), by sending the request to a dedicated Didactic Committee. For more specific information, please see the section “Credit Recognition” (ECTS).
