Biography

Degree in Medicine and Surgery with honors from the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. Specialization in Cardiology at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. Specialization in Geriatrics at “La Sapienza” University of Rome. PhD at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. Level II Master in Cardiac Electrophysiology and Arrhythmology at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome. Level II Master in Diagnostic Imaging Cardiology at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”. He has always carried out clinical and research activities in the field of Interventional Cardiology, performing, as first Operator, more than 6.000 interventions of PMK implants, ICD, CRT devices, electrophysiological studies and ablations. Also in the field of scientific research, he has paid particular interest to arrhythmology in the elderly patient, with a scientific production of more than 150 publications in national and international scientific journals. He has been part of the CD of AIAC Lazio, while he is currently a member of the national CD of SIGOT and SICGE. Member of the Editorial Board of several international scientific journals on Cardiology, he is Executive Editor of the Journal of Cardiology and Cardiovascular Research.
