Biography

Prisco Piscitelli, Epidemiologist and Vice President of the Italian Society of Environmental Medicine (SIMA). Board of the UNESCO Chair on Health Education and Sustainable Development of the University Federico II in Naples and ISBEM, Euro Mediterranean Scientific Biomedical Institute.

Specialization in Hygiene/Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Organization Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, Agostino Gemelli University Hospital, Rome, Italy (2003)

PhD in Biology and Biotechnology, University of Salento, Lecce, Italy (2014)

He is an adjunct professor at the University of Salento for the Degree Course in Nursing and works as a specialist at the Medical Department of the Vito Fazzi Hospital (Lecce, Italy), where he works on the activites related to DREAM (laboraotory of applied medical research) to enhance synergies between ASL Lecce and University of Salento in the field of Research, Support and Training.
