Matteo Ruggeri

Biography

He is an health economist whose scientific activities lay in the fields of the decision modeling for evaluation of healthcare programs, pharmacoeconomics, health policy, and emergency management.
He holds an Msc in Economics, an MA in Engineering and a PhD in Health Economics.
He carries out research and teaching activities at an academic, institutional and military level as:
– Senior Lecturer of Economics, Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics at the St. Camillus International University of Health and Medical Sciences, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore and at the Paris Sorbonne-Abu Dhabi;
– Military Instructor (ranked Lieutenant) at the Italian Red Cross Military Corps.
He is currently Co-Principal Investigator and Work Package leader within a H2020 EU funded research programme: IMPACT HTA.
From 2012 to 2017 he has been work package leader of the FP7 EU project MUNROS investigating the impact of the new health professional roles within 9 EU countries.
He has published more than 60 scientific papers in peer reviewed health economics and clinical journals as: journal of health economics, the European Journal of Health Economics, Value in health, Health Policy, pharmacoeconomics, the Lancet.
Since 2013, he holds the national qualification as Associate Professor of Economics (SSD SECS P02).
He is married with two children.
