Biography

Graduated cum laude in Medicine and Surgery in 1999 at “Sapienza” University of Rome.

Internship in 1999 at the Department of Orthopedic Surgery of the “Louisiana State University” in New Orleans (USA).

Qualified in Medicine practice at the “Sapienza” University of Rome in July 2000 and enrolled in the Order of Physicians of Rome.

Specialized cum laude in “Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation” in 2003 and in “Neurology” in 2014 at the “Sapienza” University of Rome.

She was awarded with the following Master’s degree:

Second level Master’s degree cum laude in 2017 in “Headache Medicine” and Second Level Master’s degree cum laude in 2018 in “Emergency Medicine”, “Sapienza” University of Rome.

From 2003 to 2005 She worked as a medical assistant at the Neuro-Motor Rehabilitation  Day Hospital at the San Raffaele Clinic in Velletri (RM).

From 2003 to 2009 She worked at the U.I.L.D.M. , (Telethon) for the treatment and rehabilitation of neuromuscular diseases.

Since 2006 She has been a specialist physician in the State Police and since 2021 She has been the Medical Director in charge of the direction and coordination of the Health Office and the Physiatry and Rehabilitation Section of the State Police at the Castro Pretorio Compendium – Directorate of Health Centre – Department of Public Security.

Specialist Director of Rehabilitation Centres in various facilities in Rome since 2006.

Lecturer at the “Sapienza” University of Rome for seminar activities on the three-year degree courses of “Physiotherapy”, “Occupational Therapy” and “Neuro and Psychomotor Therapy of the evolutive age” since 2015.

Associate Professor at the University of Ostrawa in Rome since 2018 for the three-year degree course in “Physiotherapy”.

Since 2003 She has participated as a speaker in numerous courses and congresses in the rehabilitation and neurological fields.

She is the author of various publications on topics related to rehabilitation, orthopaedics, neurology and sports medicine.

As a tutor she coordinates the drafting of degree theses for the doctors in Physiotherapy and for the newly hired State Police physicians at the end of their training course.
