Nicola Di Lorenzo

Biography

Prof. Di Lorenzo graduated at the Catholic University of Rome School of Medicine; residency in General Surgery – Università la Sapienza – Roma.

Prof. Di Lorenzo has a Ph.D. in Microsurgery and minimally invasive techniques and a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Economics and Management (MEMdS).

He is associate Professor of Surgery – University of Rome Tor Vergata.

Director of the International PhD program on “Innovative Technologies and Medical Engineering for Surgery”  of the Università Roma Tor Vergata from 2012.

Director of the Italian Society of Surgery (SIC) School on “Innovation and Technologies:clinical aspects and research methodology” from 2013.

He is also President – IFSO European chapter and President emeritus of SICOB (Società Italiana di Chirurgia dell’Obesità e delle malattie metaboliche) (President 2014-16)
