Biography

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in Pediatrics cum Laude, she obtained a PhD in Physiopathology and Clinic of Endocrine-Metabolic Diseases at the University of Genoa. After a training period abroad (University of Southern California) she focused her clinical and research activity mainly on the short and long-term effects of nutrition during pregnancy, breastfeeding and pediatric age, on the prevention of chronic diseases in children and in adults and the prevention of communicable diseases in fragile patients. She is the author and co-author of several publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
