UniCamillus meets the Embassy of Thailand

Rome, 06/02/2020 – The meeting between the Rector of UniCamillus (International Medical University of Rome) Gianni Profita, Ambassador Chirichu Raktabur and Minister Plenipotentiary Poj took place this morning in the Roman headquarters of the Embassy of Thailand.

The meeting proved to be particularly important for opening new ways of cooperation with Thailand: in fact, the University stressed the desire to guarantee a strong understanding in order to deepen specific common scientific research topics and to start exchanges of teachers and students.

The Ambassador and Minister were very enthusiastic about the UniCamillus training offer which includes numerous Degree Courses capable of allowing the training of health professionals of different nationalities open to international contexts, especially from the so-called “Countries of the South of the World” in to which the University pays close attention. It provides numerous scholarships in the form of a “loan of honor”, completely extinguished if after graduation the professional returns to practice in his country of origin, identified together with the university, for a period of not less than at least three years.

For these reasons, His Excellency in particular, suggested the Rector Profita to visit the Thai universities in order to guarantee a fruitful path of mutual collaboration can begin.
