Biography

In 1988 Professor Signore graduated in Medicine and Surgery at Università La Sapienza and in 1993 obtained the Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the same university.

He obtained the following Fellowships:

– Fellowship for Ovarian Cancer Screening with Colour Doppler Ultrasound at King’s College London;

– Fellowship in Gynaecological Endoscopy at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York;

– Fellowship in  Gynaecological Oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer in New York.

Professor Signore has developed special skills in gynecological oncology and robotic surgery techniques.

From 1994 to 2016 he was the Medical Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Complex Operative Unit at Azienda Ospedaliera San Camillo Forlanini. He was the Responsible Director of the gynaecological operating theatre.

From 2016 to 2020 he was the Medical Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Complex Operative Unit at Ospedale Misericordia of Grosseto; and Head of the Departmental Area of ASL Toscana Sud Est (Grosseto, Siena and Arezza).

Since October 2020 he is Medical Director of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Complex Operative Unit at Ospedale Sant’Eugenio in Rome.

From 2017 he holds the role of Professor at the International School of Robotic surgery of Grosseto, founded by Professor Pier Cristoforo Giulianotti.

Adjunct Professor at the Obstetrics and Gynecology Specilization School of Policlinico Universitario Campus Bio-Medico in Rome.

Adjunct Professor at  the Obstetrics and Gynecology Specilization School of Policlinico Le Scotte, Università di Siena (from 2017 to 2021).

Recently he carried out scientific research in the field of endometrial cancer.

He is author of more than 60 works published on national and international magazines.
