Prof. Mario Rigante from 2006 to present is staff physician at the Department of Otolaryngology Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli IRCCS – Rome.
He graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 2000 at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – Policlinico A. Gemelli” – Rome, with a score of 110/110 cum laude; in 2004 he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Otolaryngology and in 2008 a Doctorate in “Physiopathology of the Rhinopharyngotubic District” at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – Policlinico “A. Gemelli” – Rome.
Prof. Rigante teaches at the “Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore” in Rome and UniCamillus University in Rome; he is lecturer and tutor in numerous courses of surgical dissection of nose paranasal sinuses and the skull base.
He is author and co-author of more than 70 publications in international journals, 3 book chapters and 5 chapters of official reports National Society of Otolaryngology.
He is a member of the following societies: Italian Society of Otorhinolaryngology, SPIGC, European Rhinologic Society, Italian skull base Society, Italian Society of Rhinology, Italian Academy of Rhinology and member of Educational Committee of the Italian Society of Rhinology.
