Biography

Degree with honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”. PhD in “Cerebrovascular, Neurodegenerative Physiopathology and Recovery Processes” at the University of Perugia with discussion of the Doctoral Thesis entitled “Oral health in patients suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease”.

PhD in “Materials for Health, Environment and Energy – Materials and Technology for Dentistry” at the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” with discussion of the Doctoral Thesis entitled “Root canal irrigants: materials, techniques of application and activation, and microscopy evaluation of dental substrates”.

Qualified as Second Level Professor (Associate Professor) of the National Scientific Habilitation in Sector 06/F1 – Odontostomatological Diseases. Qualified as First Level Professor (Full Professor) of the National Scientific Habilitation in Sector 06/F1 – Odontostomatological Diseases. Certified member of the Italian Society of Endodontics (SIE), of the Italian Academy of Microscopic Dentistry (AIOM), of the Italian Society of Conservative Dentistry (SIDOC). Winner of the Best Dental Materials Poster Award entitled “Morphological characterization and comparison of patients with different dental restorative materials” during the 25th National Congress of the College of University Professors of Dental Disciplines.

Peer-reviewer for the major journals in the endodontic, conservative and dental materials sectors. Author of over 50 scientific, clinical and research titles published in national and international journals of recognized value in the dental field.

He regularly participates in conferences and courses in Italy and Europe as a speaker.
