My attention has always been focused on Minimally Invasive Surgery and Coloproctology without forgetting General and Abdominal Wall Surgery. In particular, I focused on the treatment of benign and malignant colorectal-anal disorders and fecal incontinence. Further areas of interest are represented by the minimally invasive surgical treatment of malignant and benign colorectal pathologies, of the pelvic floor as well as the minimally invasive treatment of wall defects (hernia, simple and complex incisional hernias).

Speaker at national and international conferences and author of 86 international publications and 3 book chapters published in print.
