Francesco Corvese

Biography

Born on April 5, 1959.
In 1984 he graduated with honors from La Sapienza University in Rome.
In 1989 he obtained his specialization in General Surgery – University La Sapienza Roma, in 1994 in Urology – University of L’Aquila, in 2006 in Andrological Endocrinology – University of Pisa.
Since 1989 assistant Urologist in the Division of Urology of the S. Eugenio and since 1994 to the present day Executive Medical Director of the Outpatient Department of Urological Urology of the same hospital.
He showed keen interest in studies concerning the history of medicine and ancient texts relating to this subject, analyzing and translating necessary steps to understand the evolution of medicine itself.
From the Academic Year 1999-2000 he is in charge of teaching History of Medicine first at the D.U. Nurses and then to the Three-year Degree Course in Nursing at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
From the Academic Year 2007-2008 he is in charge of teaching History of Medicine at the Master of Science in Nursing and Midwifery at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
From 2012 to 2014 he is in charge of teaching History of Medicine at the Master’s Degree in Nursing and Obstetrics and from 2018 at the Three-year Degree Course in Nursing from the University Nostra Signora del Buonconsiglio of Tirana.
