Graduated with honors in Medicine and Surgery and specialized in Obstetrics and gynecology (1993) and Anesthesiology (1997) at Federico II University (Naples), he is at the moment the director of the Postoperative Intensive Care Unit of the Cardiothoracovascular Department of “San Giovanni di Dio e Ruggi d’Aragona – Scuola Medica Salernitana” Hospital in Salerno.
Since 1997, he is clinical tutor and lecturer for students of the following courses: Medicine and Surgery, Nursing, Obstetrics, Physiotherapy, X-Ray Technology and for the following residency programs: Anesthesiology and Cardiology.
The main fields of clinical activity and research include: Anesthesiology in cardiac surgery, intensive care, pain medicine and venous accesses. He has authored 81 scientific publications.
