Biography

He is a registered nurse with a Degree in Nursing from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome. In 2018, he obtained the Master’s Degree in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences and in 2023 a PhD in Nursing Sciences and Public Health at the University of Rome Tor Vergata. He is currently a Research Fellow (MED/45) at the Centre of Excellence for Nursing Scholarship (CECRI), of the Order of Nursing Professions (OPI) of Rome.

His main research areas are the complexity of care, Nursing Minimum Data Set, standardized nursing terminologies, clinical nursing information systems, clinical decision support systems, nursing care delivery models and health literacy.

Currently, he collaborates with the NANDA International as co-author and diagnosis reviewer. He is a member of the Association for Common European Nursing Diagnoses Interventions and Outcomes (ACENDIO).

Reviewer for international scientific journals, he has been a speaker at numerous national and international conferences and specialization courses, where he presented his scientific activity and the results of his studies. He published his scientific works in international peer-reviewed journals.

He is Adjunct Professor (MED/45) at the Master’s Degree in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences, University of Rome Tor Vergata. He is Adjunct Professor (MED/45) and clinical tutor at the Master’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery and at the Degree in Nursing at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Rome. He is Adjunct Professor (MED/45) at the Degree in Nursing, at the First Level Master’s Degree in Nursing in Critical Care and at the Degree in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics at UniCamillus.

He works as a nurse at the Agostino Gemelli IRCCS University Hospital Foundation of Rome.
