From 1.4.2001 Aggregate Professor of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Catholic University School of Medicine “A. Gemelli” for the scientific-disciplinary sector “Anesthesiology” with full-time assignment at the Institute of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care of the University Hospital “A. Gemelli”

Since 2018, he is Aggregate Professor of Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine in Medicine and Surgery Degree Program at Catholic University School of Medicine in Rome.
He collaborates as a reviewer with journals: “Stroke”, “Critical Care Medicine”, “Intensive Care Medicine”, “International Journal of Critical Illness and Injury Science”, “Neurological Research”, Journal of Neurotrauma, British Medical Journal online, Minerva Anestesiologica.
