Nicola Mucci (MD, MSc, PhD, EurErg) is an Occupational Health Physician, specialized in Disability & Diversity Management, and a Radiation Protection Physician. He received his PhD in Occupational, Environmental and Social Medicine at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (“Agostino Gemelli” University Polyclinic) in Rome, Italy .
Currently, he serves as a Role Associate Professor of Occupational Medicine, as the Deputy Director of the Post-graduate Training Programme in Occupational Medicine (MSc) at the Department of Experimental and Clinical Medicine of the University of Florence, Italy. In the same University, he also serves as a Professor of the Academic Board of the International PhD Programme in Clinical Sciences.
He is a Consultant Occupational Health Physician at the Hospital Health Direction of the Careggi University Hospital in Florence, Italy.
He also serves as an Adjunct Professor of Occupational Medicine at the Saint Camillus International University of Health Sciences in Rome, Italy.
He is a member of the executive council of the Tuscany Regional Section of the Italian Society of Occupational Medicine (SIML). He is the Vice President of the Tuscany Regional Section of the Italian Society of Ergonomics and Human Factors (SIE).
He has authored over 130 scientific publications, mainly of international relevance.
