UniCamillus, in collaboration with the Tuscan Stomatological Institute, has launched the Training Course in “Sterilisation operator” which will start on September 15, 2020 and will be delivered completely in e-learning mode through an platform accessible h24.
Learners will have access to didactic materials available online and divided into online work modules. At the end of the study path, the certificate of specialisation training as Sterilisation Operator will be issued.
The course aims to train professionals capable of carrying out their activity in the field of sterilisation within medical and dental practices and public or private health facilities. The professional figure, therefore, will be able to define and process decontamination, disinfection, sterilisation and quality control procedures of products deriving from these activities.
Considering also the situation of today’s global pandemic due to Covid-19, the University has decided to join a training project of high academic value, aimed at health professionals who need specific skills and abilities to respond to the continuous evolution of health standards and technology present in the field of sterilisation. Furthermore, according to the UNI CEI EN ISO 13485 standard, the socio-health personnel involved in activities that influence the quality of the product must be competent on the basis of an adequate degree of education, skill and experience.
UniCamillus therefore expands its educational offer with post-graduate in situ and online courses to increasingly meet the needs of the current context, thus updating the skills on the most virtuous care settings and new organizational models in the health sector.
