He is a registered nurse with a bachelor’s degree from Sapienza University of Rome.
In 2014, he received PhD in nursing science from Tor Vergata University of Rome.
Subsequently, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Biomedicine and Prevention, Tor Vergata University of Rome.
He is currently an Assistant Professor in Nursing at the Saint Camillus International University of Health and Medical Sciences and he is habilitated for the position of Associate and Full Professor.
So far, he has published more than 40 scientific works in international peer-reviewed journals.
His research mainly concerns the study of nursing minimum data set and self-care in heart failure.
His research was funded by the Italian Center of Excellence for Nursing Scholarship and the Association for Common European Nursing Diagnoses, Interventions and Outcomes (ACENDIO).
